The generators on this site do one job: put the measurements you asked for into a PDF. Everything that can go wrong after that happens in your print dialog, on your paper, and in what you do with the sheet. These three guides cover that gap.

Read them in order if you are new here. Print settings is the one that matters most, because scaling is the single setting that decides whether a measured sheet is measured at all: a page fitted to the paper instead of printed at 100 percent turns a 5 mm grid into a 4.70 mm grid without saying so. Paper sizes answers the question that causes most of those mismatches, namely whether to pick A4 or Letter, and gives the exact dimensions and scale factors so you can work out any case yourself.
